چکیده

Software patterns are a great aid in designing the architecture of application systems. They provide standard solutions for frequently occuring problems. This paper introduces a new schema for systematizing patterns. It arose from firstly, the investigation of a whole spectrum of different patterns and secondly, the application of the principles of human thinking to the classification of these patterns. This new way of sorting patterns uncovers their common advantages but also disadvantages and may have the potential to better support developers in choosing the right pattern solutions for their problems.

A new species from Iran is described and illustrated here as Kickxia iranica (Plantaginaceae). Kickxia iranica is morphologically similar to K. commutata, a species native to Mediterranean region, however it can be distinguished from the latter by leaf shape, color of corolla, habit, stem branching and length of leaf, petiole, pedicel and corolla. Notes on its distribution, ecology and phenolog...

Systematics of Aspergillus species of subgenus Nidulantes in Iran

Aspergillus subgenus Nidulantes accommodates species of industrial and medical importance. Thirty isolates morphologically assigned to subgenus Nidulantes were studied, 25 isolated from cereals in the north and northwestern provinces and the rest from other substrates in Iran. Based on morphological and molecular data (sequences of the ITS rDNA and β-tubulin), nine species were identified belon...

Plant systematics in the age of genomics.

As plant biologists enter a new era in which comparative genomics promises to address fundamental questions in botany, such as unraveling metabolic and regulatory networks, the inestimable value and usefulness of robust systematic studies quickly become clear. In simplest terms, systematic studies can indicate which genomes in the plant kingdom to search, sample, and study for the answers to qu...

In the present study, the morphology, color pattern, chromosomal complement and aspects of meiosis in natural populations at the borders of the distributions of Mepraia gajardoi Frías et al and Mepraia spinolai (Porter) are described. The males of these bordering populations are brachypterous or macropterous, while females are always micropterous. Morphological and cytogenetic data indicated th...
